SPECS IN GENERAL
  specs december

SPECIFICATIONS:

Product code matches code for specification of same goods listed on smice board. Don’t get confused with other same country products. The code applied on smice matching specs here are the correct specs for those goods .

I will attempt to list all specs at time I recieve such if specs given are ‘cut and past’ application- if I need to extract spects and make a new document , this will cuase delays - specs with frames applied via email should be avoided when sending to FTN as I can’t often cut and paste frames.
Formats provided to FTN similar to IRON ORE specs below are easy for me to cut and paste.

Specification are used to apply to current goods or to check goods as offered by other in matters of due diligence.

Major product like Sugar , Ethanol, Urea- Those specs are standard as found from may suppliers around the world in similar form - hence may be used to source specific goods. I define these goods as having ‘ fixed specs”

Notes:

  1. It is improper to ask for instance- a Sth African coal supplier for coal using indonesian specification. Coal grades vary from country to country. I define such ‘specs’ as ‘variable specs’

  2. It’s imporper to use a BOL from past deliveries to imply evidence of current supply. All orders are unique as per the goods ordered on board at that time.

  3. A supplier must provide specification- Such offers ftn the opportunity to conduct due diligence on such to see if goods offered are genuine.

  4. If you are sourcing goods, then supplier MUST provide specs. If you have goods that need to be sourced , then BUYER must provide specs.

  5. If you approach a end buyer (or get an inquiry form such) with SMICE listed goods and you need to work fast and don’t have specs, then offer only a basic quote by e-mail with GRADE, DELIVERY AND PRICE applied.
